I was blessed to be raised in a wonderful Christian home, where both of my parents were deeply devoted to God. I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior at the age of seven, and our family faithfully attended church every Sunday and throughout the week.
However, like many, I faced a period of struggle during my teenage years. I drifted from my faith and spent years in rebellion, not following Jesus as I should have. But when I got married and started a family, I knew I wanted to take my faith more seriously. My relationship with God needed to be at the center of my life.
There are details of what I call my “dark and empty years” that I’ll share another time, but for now, I want to focus on what became a turning point in my faith. Several years ago, my cousin Benjamin introduced me to a friend of his named Dr. Baruch Korman, who lives in Israel and teaches God’s Word in Hebrew and Greek—the original languages of the Bible.
The first time I listened to his teachings, I was shocked at how much of the Bible I had never truly understood. Verses I had read countless times suddenly took on new depth and meaning when explained in their original language. As I followed along verse by verse, I realized how much had been lost in translation over the years.
If hearing God’s Word in its true context could ignite such a fire in me, awakening a deep hunger to study Scripture, then maybe it could do the same for others. That’s when the idea for Lost in Translation was born.
I called Baruch, and we began working on ways to bring these teachings to more people. Then I reached out to my friend Tom, who works at a radio station in San Diego. In 2017, we launched the radio show Lost in Translation—a platform dedicated to studying Scripture in its original languages, revealing the deeper truths behind each word, verse, and chapter.
This journey has transformed my life in ways I never expected, and I feel compelled to share it with anyone willing to listen. With my wife, Kristine, by my side, encouraging and supporting me every step of the way, we are incredibly blessed to be part of this ministry.
We are excited to see where God leads us next, and we pray that Lost in Translation helps you grow in your understanding of His Word just as it has for us.

In 2019, Tom LeVine began hosting a new radio Bible teaching program, “Lost in Translation,” with Dr. Baruch Korman and Ronnie Houlihan. The outreach rapidly grew from one local station to a syndicated network of almost 200 U.S broadcast signals. In 2020, Sirius XM Satellite Radio began broadcasting Baruch’s teaching throughout North America (and worldwide on the SXM App). Along with our listeners, Tom saw his faith transformed by Baruch’s teaching. He now serves the Board as media strategist for Lost in Translation Ministry.org. His Christian media firm Radiance launched in 2014. Married to Dawn LeVine since 1982, Tom lives in San Diego along with their son and daughter.

My faith journey has taken me from Israel to America, where I served as a Hebrew teacher and in time found my faith in Messiah which completely transformed my life.

Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to serving others—working with the government to support children, serving the elderly through various social programs, and helping young low-income individuals work toward self-sufficiency.

For the last 20 years, I founded and operated Comfort Keepers of Colorado Western Slope, a successful home care company. After two decades of ownership, I made the decision to sell the business so that I could fully dedicate myself to what I truly feel called to do- helping believers understand God’s Word as He intended it to be.

My husband, Benjamin Lee, has been a believer in the Messiah since childhood. Born and raised in America, He has always had a heart for helping people, reaching out in any way he could. Now that our business has been sold, he’s standing with me in this mission, working side by side to bring Lost in Translation to life.

We’ve also joined forces with Ronnie Hullihan, the founder of this ministry. As a Christian, Ronnie always felt drawn to understanding God’s Word more deeply. Over time, he realized that much of what he had been taught was missing its original meaning. His passion for truth led him to seek the Hebrew foundation of scripture, and that’s what brought us together.

Lost in Translation is more than just a project—it’s our calling. Too many biblical words and concepts have been misinterpreted, leading to misunderstandings about God’s true message. Our goal is to help believers see God’s heart clearly by restoring the original Hebrew and Greek meaning of scripture.

In addition to our own teachings, we often utilize the teachings and insights of Dr. Baruch Korman with Love Israel.org to help readers and viewers better understand the Word of God. Through his work, we provide powerful tools and resources to deepen biblical understanding and restore the scripture’s original intent.

This isn’t just about knowledge; it’s about deepening our faith verse by vers and helping you ask the right questions, dig deeper, and build a stronger foundation of faith. We are a team, fully devoted to this mission, and we welcome you to be a part of it.

Welcome to Lost in Translation.

Dr. Baruch Korman

Author/Pastor

Baruch is the senior lecturer at the Zera Avraham Institute based in Israel. He also appears on the Israeli Television program Pdut L’amo where he teaches each week from the Bible (This program is in Hebrew).

A similar Bible Study program in English is broadcast on numerous television networks across the United States, Europe, and Africa. Many of his lectures are available in the forms of video, and audio and are written on Pdut.org (Hebrew) and LoveIsrael.org (English).

Baruch holds a PhD in Jewish Studies. His dissertation was on the translation techniques of the Septuagint. Baruch has been married for 30 years to his wife, Rivka, and they have three adult children. The Kormans live in Israel.

Rivka Korman was born and raised in the U.S. and became a believer in Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) at a very young age. While studying at university, she met Baruch Korman and they married after she graduated in 1987.

Baruch and Rivka have been in full-time ministry together since that time. They moved to Israel in January 2002 with their 3 children. Rivka earned an MA in Biblical Studies in 2007. Her thesis was a comparison of the Biblical Messiah and the Rabbinical Messiah.

The Biblically Inspired Life was established in 2018 to encourage believers to infuse every aspect of their lives with Biblical Truth. We believe true joy is found only through obeying and serving the L-rd.
