Our Mission

Our Vision and Mission
Connecting People to Faith
At Lost In Translation Ministry, our mission is to bridge the gap between Scripture and its original context. We aim to connect believers to God’s Word by focusing on its Hebrew and Greek roots, ensuring a true understanding of its meaning.
Imagine a world where believers are inspired to live scripture-driven lives, strengthened by a closer relationship with God. Lost in Translation exists to make this vision a reality by teaching the Bible in its original language and revealing truths that can illuminate your path no matter where you are in your faith journey.
Foundational Beliefs
Our Statement Of Faith
Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible, contained in the 66 books of the Tanakh and New Covenant writings (i.e. Old and New Testaments), is the authoritative Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, and is without error in its original autographs.
God
We believe in one God, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Who is the Creator of the heavens and the earth.
We believe that God exists in three distinct persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and that each member of the Trinity is eternal and absolute God.

Messiah
We believe that Yeshua (Jesus) of Nazareth is the Messiah (Christ) of God foretold by the Biblical prophets. We believe that Yeshua is the 2nd Person of the Trinity, God the Son, Who exists eternally and came to earth as God in the flesh.
We believe Yeshua was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born through Miriam, a virgin, and lived a life without sin.
We believe Yeshua died on the cross for the sins of the world, was buried for 3 days and 3 nights, and was physically raised from the dead by God the Father.
We believe that after His resurrection Yeshua appeared to over 500 witnesses, and after 40 days ascended back to heaven, where He is currently seated at the right hand of the Father, as our Great High Priest.

The Torah
We believe God’s instructions (i.e. the Torah) are still relevant and applicable for all Believers today. However, it is not possible for the law (The Torah) to be kept fully in this present age.
We believe the Sabbath is on the 7th day of the week.
